I wish there were more tips on how to do everything entirely homemade or what to look for when you're buying store bought , like with syrups such as caramel, because I am SO PICKY about that stuff and just prefer to make it myself, but there are some tips on how to make things yourself which I appreciate.

Coffee books are hard to write because everyone has their own preferences and coffee snobs are the literal worst, so I will say while this book isn't amazing, it's pretty good. I didn't feel too terribly annoyed trying to read the text, and it's got a really solid layout with pictures.

This is a great book to learn about the coffee-making and latte art processes. However, I think that its recipes are skewed to the stove-top barista. I would have liked to see more recipes geared to the homeowner with a counter-top machine.
